Independent Systems Assessment

This report presents the findings of an Independent Engineering Assessment of DC WASA's wastewater and water systems. DC WASA requested that Parsons Brinckerhoff provide an Independent Consulting Engineering Assessment to reflect the current state of facilities and the initiatives that DC WASA has been involved in over the last five years.

The investigation found that:

  • DC WASA's systems are functional,
  • DC WASA is operating within all permit requirements,
  • Capital improvement planning is at appropriate levels, and
