Solicitation Description:
The District of Columbia Water and Sewer Authority (DCWASA), requests the submittal of Qualifications Statements for the performance of professional engineering and related services under the proposed agreement. The selected engineering firm, project team of engineering firm, or joint venture, will provide engineering design services for the Rehabilitation of Potomac Pumping Station Phase III at Potomac Pumping Station, 27 Ohio Drive, N.W, Washington D.C.
The scope of work will include design of architectural and structural improvements, replacement of four mechanical screens, replacement of 5KV electrical switchgear and associated wiring, and replacement of mechanical valve actuators and associated instrumentation work.
The agreement resulting from this request for qualifications statements will be subject to a Fair Share Objective for Minority and Women Business Enterprise Participation in the work of 28% and 4%, respectively. The program requirements are fully defined in the USEPA’s “Guidance for Utilization of small, Minority and Women’s Business Enterprises in Procurement Under Assistance Agreement – 6010, 1997 Edition”.
