QUESTIONS
1. Question: Our pages 58 and 59 are blank. Is this correct? Are there more pages as well?
Response: Pages 58 and 59 are blank and there are no more pages.
2. Question: Does a Traffic Control Plan (TCP) have to be submitted with bid or
after award? Is a statement of conformance with the specifications
sufficient?
Response: Yes, you must submit the Traffic Control Plan with the bid. It is not
sufficient to state that you are in conformance with the specifications.
3. Question: Does a Quality Assurance/Control Program have to be submitted with
bid or upon award?
Response: The Quality Assurance/Control Program must be submitted with your
bid response.
4. Question: Do you have a contact and phone number concerning hydrant use? Is it $55.00/day per hydrant used or will we fall under the “blanket” category? We may using 2-3 hydrants per day, depending on how the City has laid out the work sites.
Response: The cost to use the hydrant for a short period of time is $55.00 per hour. If, there is a long period of time, DCWASA will provide a meter and the firm would pay according to the meter. Also, the point of contact for the Hydrant program will be given to the successful bidder. If, there are other questions that need to be addressed concerning the hydrant prior to the submittal of the bid, please contact Teresa Scott at 202-787-2021.

5. Question: Who could I speak to concerning any other licensing issues we may have with performing services for the City, as well as acceptable Pesticide Applicator Licensing?
