FAQs
Make it a priority every day! Follow these tips:
Indoors
Take short showers.
Brush your teeth and shave with the tap off.
Don't use the toilet as a wastebasket.
Do only full loads in the dishwasher and washing machine.
Keep drinking water chilled in the refrigerator.
Don't let water run when washing dishes. Fill the sink instead.
Outdoors
Water only when the grass needs it.
Leave grass tall (1"-3") - taller grass helps keep the soil moist.
Landscape with plants that don't need much water.
Use an automatic sprinkler system with a timer, if possible.
Use ground covers and mulches around plants.
Cover swimming pools when not in use.
These tips outline daily action - but don't forget to be prepared for emergency action, too!
