Google Earth is a free application provided by Google. It combines satelite images of the globe with global positioning system data to present interactive maps with various points of interest. DCWASA has taken the innovative step of combining the capabilities of the Google Earth application with our extisting fire hydrant data to allow Washington D.C. residents to get timely access to the status of hydrants throught the District.
