What We Do
Lead and Copper Content
Since August 2004, DCWASA has undergone corrosion control treatment to improve the quality of the drinking water. The graphs below show the lead and copper concentrations reported to EPA for the past two years. The EPA limits for lead and copper are based on the 90th percentile of all samples collected during the sampling period. DCWASA collects over 100 samples from customer homes each 6-month monitoring period.
